Dark, honey in colour and sticky in texture, and rich in essential oils. Black Sacra has a warm, heavy, sweet and spicy aroma.
This resin was harvested in Yemen, and has a slightly sweeter scent, possibly due to more limited harvesting in comparison with the same species in Oman, where Boswellia Sacra is most well known.
The resin is ideal for clearing negative or stagnant energy from a home or workplace, or before moving onto some of the higher, lighter grades.
