Naturally occuring and harvested without injuring the tree, the resin has a balsamic, spicy & slightly sweet scent.
Commiphora Myrrha is also known as 'true myrrh'. The species grows in Ethiopia, Somalia, and Yemen.
It has been valued for thousands of years for it's medicinal properties. Myrrh is considered to be of a feminine nature and an ideal companion resin to frankincense.
